Elder Robin Washington is a native of Washington, DC and was reared in Charles County, Maryland. Here, she attended the public school system. Shortly after high school graduation, Elder Robin furthered her education by completing a secretarial science program at Charles County Community College.
In 2003, God called her into ministry after many years of abuse and traumatic experiences. Elder Robin is a survivor of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual assault; this part of her life was difficult, but God kept and strengthened her in the midst of it all. As God kept her, she began to experience His unconditional love and mighty power that delivered, healed and set her free--free from the abuse, the low self-esteem, the guilt, the shame, the depression and other baggage that resulted from the circumstances, traumatic experiences and difficult times in her life.
After Elder Robin acknowledged her call into the ministry, God began to direct her steps. Eventually, after being involved in a number of churches, she became a licensed minister in 2014 at The New Holy City of Jerusalem Temple of God under the leadership of Apostle Sharon Thompson where Elder Robin continues to serve, continues to grow and continues to mature in God.
Elder Robin is compassionate and her passion in ministry, is to reach hurting people, especially women; to motivate and educate God's people; to edify; to encourage; to help them realize and maintain their God-given identity; to help them understand and fulfill their purpose in life. She believes that teachings based on the unadulterated Word of God will bring His people into a position to know Him better and to experience His power of deliverance, of healing and His wholeness.
Elder Robin has been blessed by God to give birth to six children, to be a proud grandmother of twelve and a great-grandmother of two.
