Robin Washington is a native of Washington, DC and was reared in Maryland. She attended the public school system in Charles County, Maryland. Shortly after graduating from high school, Robin furthered her education by completing programs in both secretarial science and accounting.
In 2003, God gave Robin a poem that speaks about the baggage or weight needlessly carried and called her into ministry after years of abuse and many traumatic experiences. Robin is not just merely a survivor, but, has become an overcomer of domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexual assault and the traumatic experiences endured. This part of her life was difficult, but it was only by and through the grace of God that kept and strengthened her in the midst of it all. As God kept her, she began to experience His unconditional love and mighty power that delivered, healed and set her free--free from the abuse, the low self-esteem, the guilt, the shame, the depression and other baggage that resulted from the circumstances, traumatic experiences and difficult times in her life.
After Robin acknowledged her call into the ministry, God began to direct her steps. Eventually, her steps were ordered and directed to be under the leadership of Apostle Sharon Thompson at the The New Holy City of Jerusalem Temple of God. Here, she became a licensed minister and in 2015, ordained as an elder. Robin is a faithful servant and dedicated to and committed to serving God, growing in and maturing in Him that He be glorified.
Robin is compassionate and her passion is to reach hurting people, especially women; to motivate and educate God's people; to edify; to encourage; to help them realize and maintain their God-given identity; to help them understand and fulfill their purpose in life. She believes that teachings based on the unadulterated Word of God will bring His people into a position to know Him in a new way and to experience His power of deliverance, of healing and His wholeness. Therefore, leading them to a new place and to have encounters with God.
Robin has been blessed by God to have given birth to six children, to be a proud grandmother of twelve and a great-grandmother of three.
